v0.105.0 & v0.105.1 Patch Guide: Aeonglass, Bestiary, and the Bi-Weekly Cadence

A full breakdown of the May 7-8 beta patches — Doormaker removal, the new Aeonglass boss, the first Bestiary build, every meaningful balance change, and the shift to bi-weekly patching.

Overview

The May 7-8 patches (v0.105.0 and v0.105.1) mark a major content update. Doormaker is removed from the game, replaced by the new Act 3 boss Aeonglass. The Bestiary system is introduced in its first build. Mega Crit also announced a shift to bi-weekly patch cadence.

New Boss: Aeonglass

Aeonglass replaces Doormaker as an Act 3 boss. This is a Wither-themed encounter with a unique mechanic: each turn you take damage equal to your Wither stacks. Key patterns:

  • Turn 1: Applies 3 Wither, attacks for 12
  • Turn 2: Applies 2 Wither, attacks for 15
  • Turn 3: "Withering Presence" — doubles all Wither stacks, then attacks for 10 per stack
  • The fight rewards burst damage and Wither removal. Block alone is not enough — you need to either end the fight quickly or have reliable ways to cleanse Wither.

    Doormaker Removed

Doormaker has been removed from the game following community feedback about its RNG-heavy design. Its relics and card rewards have been redistributed. Any existing Doormaker-related achievements have been converted.

    Bestiary System (First Build)

The Bestiary is a new in-game encyclopedia that tracks enemies you've encountered. First build features:

  • Enemy HP ranges (confirmed values for each difficulty tier)
  • Intent patterns and attack cycles
  • Status effect resistances
  • Unlockable lore entries
  • More features (deck history, run statistics) are planned for future builds.

    Notable Balance Changes

    General

  • Ascension 9 difficulty spike reduced slightly
  • Shop prices increased by ~10% across the board
  • Rare card appearance rate in early Act 1 reduced
  • Cards

  • Several underperforming cards across all characters received small buffs
  • Overperforming common cards (especially zero-cost attacks) nerfed slightly
  • "Infinite combo" enabling cards adjusted to require more setup
  • Bi-Weekly Patch Cadence

Mega Crit announced that starting with v0.105, patches will follow a bi-weekly schedule. This means more predictable updates and more time for the meta to settle between changes. Live patches will continue to be released as needed for critical fixes.
